自2008年北京奥运会的成功举办以来，国内开始陆续承办大型体育赛事，知名的比如 2010年广州亚运会，2014年南京青奥会，以及即将在2022年于北京举办的冬奥会等。伴随着赛事承办的热潮，有关其对经济影响的讨论也愈发激烈。大型体育赛事的承办通常能为承办地带来一定的经济收益。从短期角度讲刺激消费与投资的增长，长期角度能拉动地方就业，提高人力资本以及提高城市形象。然而在另一方面，赛事的举办也会带来环境污染，治安恶化等问题，这些问题也会为政府带来相应的支出。为了使体育赛事的影响从总体上偏向有利，承办地政府总是需要找到当地对体育赛事的最优需求，以此达成经济收益。

Since the success of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the country has begun to undertake large-scale sports events, such as the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, and the upcoming Winter Olympics in Beijing in 2022. With the enthusiasm of the event, discussions about its economic impact have become more intense. The hosting of large-scale sports events can often bring certain economic benefits to the contractor. From a short-term perspective, they can stimulate consumption and investment growth, from a long-term perspective, they can stimulate local employment, improve human capital and improve the image of the city. But on the other hand, the event will also bring about environmental pollution, deterioration of public security and other issues, which will also bring corresponding expenses to the government. In order to make the impact of sports events generally favorable, the host government always needs to find the local demand for sports events to achieve economic benefits.
