餐桌浪费一直是各界关注的热点问题，而高校作为粮食消费大户，其食堂餐桌浪费令人心痛。“光盘行动”自2013年发起以来，得到了社会各界的大力支持，但随着时间的流逝，“舌尖上的浪费”仿佛又卷土重来。因此，研究“光盘行动”的实施成效并由此积极做出调整尤为重要。

本文通过对北京高校237名学生进行的问卷调查了解了高校餐桌浪费的基本情况，并用实证性分析检验了“光盘行动”对高校餐桌浪费的改善成效。结果显示，“光盘行动”的确能够改善高校餐桌浪费情况，但效果有限；父母受教育程度、平时锻炼频率会影响光盘行动的参与度；性别、食物类型、就餐类型、学习时间都会影响浪费的程度。在此基础上，本文提出了高校食堂要提升菜品及服务品质、高校应建立食堂打包制度、教育部推动奖惩制度的建立、高校学生加强节约意识等建议。

Table waste has been  a hot social topic in recent years. College student cafeteria table waste is distressing since colleges consume a large part of food.  “Clear your plate” campaign has been supported by various circles of society since 2013. However, as time goes by, table waste seems to come back again. So it’s important for us to test the effects of “clear your plate” campaign and on this basis to make some adjustments. 

  This paper is to know more about college student cafeteria table waste and do some empirical research on the effects of  “clear your plate” campaign  concluding on the investigation data of 237 students in Beijing colleges. The results turn out that “clear your plate” campaign does help to reduce college student cafeteria table waste, although the effect is limited. And the research also shows that level of education of parents and exercise frequency can influence the participation of  “clear your plate” campaign. And gender, the type of food and eating habits and the time of learning are also related to the degree of waste. On the basis of research, to improve the college student cafeteria table waste, this paper suggests that college cafeterias should improve food quality and service level and colleges should try to set up a food packaging system in the college cafeteria. And more, it’s helpful for Ministry of Education to establish the rewards and punishment system of table taste and students should grow the awareness of saving.
