& lt/p& gt

& ltp& gtAbstract& lt/p& gt
& ltp& gtWhite Fang was one of Jack London&rsquos best northland novels and a sister-novel of another piece, The Call of the Wild. As a fan of Darwin, Jack London expounds his thoughts of Darwinism in this novel. The survival-of-the-fittest law repeated itself throughout the entire story. Though there are some papers written about Darwinism in this novel, most of them focus on finding out the links between Jack London&rsquos life experiences and Darwinism in the novel.& lt/p& gt
& ltp& gtThis paper will delve into the text to discuss the implicit theme of Alienation from the perspective of Literary Darwinism. This thesis got its inspiration from a &rsquos thesis of Li Jing& #402010), who was the first one in China to discuss the theme of alienation in White Fang. In this study, text analysis method will be used as the main research method, while a corpus-based method will also be included. This study will explain White Fang&rsquos alienation to adapt to different surroundings so that we can see Jack London&rsquos Darwinism logic in this novel. & lt/p& gt
